About Angy

Angy Rodríguez was born on April 5, 2010. She had a normal childhood and brought light to her family’s life. At age seven, a knee injury resulted in unusually severe swelling, prompting a visit to UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital in Santa Monica. Angy was diagnosed with a bone cancer known as Osteosarcoma. As a result, Angy underwent a procedure to have a part of her bone removed and replaced with a metal prosthesis.
