Gloveworx coaches are the best in the business. Despite different skillsets and experiences, they are all bound by their passion for boxing. This shared interest makes it exciting for the whole team when our coaches follow this passion to greater heights. If you haven’t already heard the news, Gloveworx coach Vlad Panin will be making his professional boxing debut! Join us on November 25th at Westin Bonaventure as Vlad steps into the ring for Battle of the Rising Stars.

Vlad’s passion for boxing started in his youth and carried him cross-country for training and competitions. His success in the ring helped him realize his lifelong dream of training alongside WBO World Welterweight Champion Floyd Mayweather. This continued success led him to pursue his passion from a different angle by joining the Gloveworx team as a coach.

As a coach, Vlad is dedicated to helping contenders stay consistent in the pursuit of their goals. His approach is to help contenders define their goals and create a program that will be challenging yet effective. He believes that nothing is impossible and encourages contenders to keep going when they don’t think they can push anymore. Now, we get to return the favor and support Vlad in the next round of his journey.

We asked Vlad what he would suggest to Gloveworx contenders who want to take their goals to the next level. “Do away with all limiting beliefs and have great self-belief instead,” he says, “as that paired with a good work ethic and a positive attitude will over time allow you to reach any and all goals you set for yourself.”
